Exactly a week ago we had our first peer to peer iPad sessions. The resenters had all attended the most recent QAIS Educational Technology Professional development Day – the theme for their presentations was: What was the most useful thing you learned?
The style of the presentations was loosely based on the pecha kucha, where the presenter has 20 slides and 20 seconds to present each one. Although two of the presenters took up the pecha kucha challenge, Ms. A decided to build a lesson plan inspired by one that was presented to her at the conference.
The lesson plan was for her grade 7 Ethics, religion and Culture class and used the 360 cities website (there is an app, but the app is only for creating a panorama, not viewing them. The students scan the Qr code, and are taken to a 360 view of a religious shrine. But I will let her lesson plane speak for itself.
Download the lesson plan in word format: RELIGIOUS EXPRESSION Christian JIGSAW GAME 1.
Thanks Ms. A!
